Are lash curlers safe to use?........
The answer is yes, provided you take note of a few important steps before attempting to use the curlers.

We have many different types of lash curlers, but they do the same job.
Steel lash curler

Travel size - plastic lash curler

They are meant to curl your top lashes if you have very straight hair.
By applying mascara afterwards, you have beautiful long and curly looking lashes.

Before using the instrument, make sure that the rubber is inserted correctly, not worn out or old and especially clean.
See below how rubber attachment should look like.

Make sure that you lashes are clean and free from mascara.
Great tip - with your hair dryer, heat the tip of your curler. Do this just for a few seconds.
Position curler close to lash line. Make sure that you have the correct position
Press lightly , moving towards ends, still pressing as you go along until you've reached the end/tip of your lashes.
Apply mascara as normal.

Another safe and very easy lash curler for those who are petrified to use the above mentioned.

The heated lash curler

The heated lash curler is amazing and very safe to use. I call this a mini curling tong!
By inserting one small battery at the bottom of applicator, switch on, wait for a few seconds for the comb to heat up and use.
Hold comb at the bottom of the top lash. Twist slightly upwards so you bend the lashes. Do this until you have reached desired curl. Add mascara.

You have just realized that your mascara has run dry!!!
Don't worry, if you have a gel liner in black, just press the mascara wand into the gel liner and apply as you would a mascara.
It will last long, as most gel liners are water proof/ water resistant and you will have long, thick black lashes!!!

Forgot to buy hair silicon or you realized that yours is finished?
Don't stress.....here is a great tip to save your day!
If you have a primer or under make up base for your face, do the routine that you would normally do on your face, but before washing your hands, run them through your hair.
These products contain silicone and will do the job just as good as your hair product.
Your hair will be smooth and shiny.
For longer lasting lip colour:
Fill in your entire lips with a matte lip pencil or crayon.
Apply a matte lip stick of the same colour or close to thew colour of your pencil.
Finish with a layer of a cream or frosted lipstick of the same colour or clear to achieve a slight sheen or shimmer.
The top layer will eventually wear off, but your lips will be stained with colour and won't look tatty.
Remember to put the cream or frosted lipstick in your handbag if you need a touch up.
Mixing INGLOT duraline and gel liner together makes a fantastic base for your eye shadow.
Use a lighter gel liner to pop the colour of your eye shadow.
Apply a thin layer of the mixture on your eyelids and apply your favourite colour eye shadow over.
blend thoroughly into the crease and finish with sheen/highlighter on the brow bone.
Your eye shadow will last longer than usual and won't separate or crease.
This is also a great technique to use when applying sparkles or glitter on eyes or face.
