Duraline.
Clear liquid that can be mixed with our powder pigments, mascara, eyeshadows and lip colours.
The product becomes liquid and is water resistant and only removable with our waterproof make up remover.
Packed in a dropper dispenser, this makes it easy to use.
One to two drops is sufficient to make a liquid eyeshadow for eyes.

Brushes for make up application
When applying eyeshadow to the eyes, make sure you have the correct tools ie; make up brushes.
Using the correct brushes will result in an even application and therefore more than one colours can be blended together.
I prefer using a small, short bristle brush to apply the colour on the lid of the eye. Thereafter, I use a soft, medium brush to blend the shadow into the rest of the eye.
For best results, also use brushes which are made with natural hair. There are different types of hair used, such as: pony, goat, squirrel. these are the best, but can be very pricey.
Sponge applicators are nice to use for intense colour, where blending is not required. Also for cream based eye shadows.
Synthetic brushes are also good to use with cream eye shadows.
Most cosmetic houses sell make up brushes.
For professional brushes, visit MAC cosmetics, Bobbi Brown and the latest cosmetic brand, Inglot.
They have a vast range of professional brushes, brush belts, brush cleaners, etc.

Eyelash Enhancer
It is strange for a guy to want long lashes, but strangely enough, I always wanted long ones, as I was born with short lashes and almost no bottom lashes.
I am so excited, because recently, I discovered a new product that will actually grow lashes and brows.
I have been using it for almost a month and the result is amazing! Slow process, but I can see a difference.

Summer Make up
Enjoy the sun and get a beautiful golden tan.....or darker. Just don't forget sunblock!!!
Use instant face tanning lotions or another option is to get a foundation to match your body. Keep your lighter foundation for winter.
Brighten up the look with fruity coloured lip gloss or lipstick on your lips. Keep in mind that the darker your tan is, the brighter the lips.
Use neutrals on eyes. Texture can have a sheen, frosted or metallic.
Good colours for darker skins are gold, bronzes and even orange undertones.
Lighter skins look good in silvers, peach, pale golds and yellows.
Brush very lightly over whole eye area. The result must just be a hint of colour.
Finish off with lots of black mascara.
Brush orange, peach or pink undertone blushers, to give a slight contour to cheeks.

men and suits
If your suit jacket's lapel is thin, wear a tie that is thin and visa versa. This will balance the whole look.
If the collar of your shirt is wide apart, wear a big tie knot.
Shirt cuff should be about 2 - 2.5 centimeters above your thumb joint.
Hems of trousers should just touch the back of the heel of your shoes and at the front it should just make a slight fold.
Don't wear a pair of shoes that is lighter than your pants. Example ( white shoes with black pants is a no no!! )
Try and match your socks with the shoes you are going to wear. Black shoes with black socks.....
Front pleated pants should be worn loosely around hips. If pleats open, you know that you should opt for a bigger size pant or pleated styled pants do not suit your body type.

Smolder Eyes
Line eyes on bottom inner rim and across bottom lash line with soft eyepencil or eyekohl. It is easier to use eye kohl as it can be smudged to create a smokey look or airbrushed look. Use a soft ,short bristle, eyeliner brush to smudge/ soften the pencil line.
The eyeliner must have a faded effect. Use navy blue or black eye kohl/eyeshadow to shade in the outer corner of the eyes. Use again the brush to soften harsh lines.
Lastly use navy blue mascara over entire lashes and finish off with pitch black mascara on outer lashes to give an elongated effect. Do the same on top eyelid as bottom.
Finish off with an ice blue frosted eye shadow on inner corner of eyes. apply lightly to avoid too much shine.

Oily skins
Any healthy person's skin must have some natural oils. So first of all a healthy diet is essential! No oily foodstuff! Also, we live in Africa hot, dry to humid conditions. Oils form a layer on the skin for a reason, to protect from the harsh climate. That is why we have oily skins.
If a skin is excessively oily, it must be maintained with appropriate skin products.
All skin products should be an oil control basis.
Skin cleansing in the morning;
Face soap/ liquid wash for oily skins. This will remove excess oils.
A toner to equalize your skin ph., but not necessary as a good face wash will have all the necessary ingredients.
Moisturizing is very important as it maintains the skin's texture. Moisturizer must be oil free. Unfortunately we need a high percentage of SPF and it will make your face look oily. So, if you are going to use a moisturizer with an SPF, be prepared to battle with shine.
If you're wearing make up.
Prepping your skin.
Use an anti shine serum. You'll find it at certain cosmetic counters. This will form a layer on your skin that will delay the skins natural oil from seeping through to the skin's surface.
Select a liquid foundation that is matte and a pressed face powder to give a matte finished look. Alternatively, use a powder foundation. This is a foundation in a powder form and it is not necessary to use a pressed face powder over it. Your concealer must be matte as well.
Select all your powder eye shadows and powder blushers in a matte finish. Too much shimmer/sheen will contribute to a shiny skin.
Avoid any creams, light reflecting pigments, frosts, etc.
Use water resistant/ waterproof eye pencils and eyebrow pencils as well as mascaras. It is longer lasting.
Keep blotting powder or blotting paper in your handbag. This will come in handy when your face starts shining during the course of the day.
Work in a well ventilated area, where there is a cool breeze or even an aircon that is set on cool temperature. Your skin will be kept cool and dry all day long. Try not to touch your face as the oils and sweat from the palms of your hands will be transferred onto your face. Keep hair away from face such as fringes.

False eyelashes
If you want to wear false eyelashes, but want it to look as natural as possible?
Try the individual false lashes. It is easy to apply and you have more control over the lashes.
Apply on ends only, to create a cat eye.
Apply about 5-7 individual lashes and seperate them evenly. This will give you a natural look.
The more you add, the more dramatic the lashes look.
Try to alternate the long length individual lashes with medium or short ones. This will give you an uneven effect....very sexy!!!
Also apply the short, individual lashes along the bottom lashes, if you want to achieve the 60's Twiggy look!
How to apply:
Use a tweezer to lift each lash, holding on the end of lash.
Apply a small amount of eyelash glue to the bottom of lash and wait a few seconds for glue to set.
While still holding with the tweezer, place lash securely between your own lashes. Make sure they are placed correctly.
To remove, hold lash with your fingers and pull gently away. Lashes can be used again.
