Miracle Cream

Energising Cream for Heavy Legs

This cream is probably one of the BEST creams I have ever used for my legs.
As a hair and makeup artist, I am on my feet most of the day.
By late afternoon my legs burn, cramp, ache and not to mention the need to burst into tears as the pain is unbearable.
My partner who is a SH'ZEN consultant ordered me a few tubes to try out.
After the first application, I felt an immense relief in my legs.
I will not leave the house without taking my SH'ZEN Energising Cream with me and apply whenever I feel my legs wanting to give up!!!
Below is more information on the product as given on their website:

This aromatic cream instantly cools skin and helps boost circulation to alleviate the uncomfortable feeling of swollen legs and ankles.

It contains nine essential oils, including Peppermint, Ti-Tree, Basil, Sage, Chamomile and Geranium, which have cooling, astringent qualities and work to stimulate circulation, reduce water retention and relieve swelling. It's the perfect rescue remedy for people who have been sitting or standing for long periods of time and need to relieve discomfort and re-energise their feet. Massage it into the leg area as often as necessary and enjoy the fresh, cooling sensations of the plant extracts.

Kryolan Cosmetics

Woman tend to make a big mistake when shopping for eye shadows.
They tend look at the colours and seem to forget about the texture and what it will do for their eyes.

In my opinion, shimmers are great, but a basic palette of matte powders is essential.
Always have a neutral colour ( bone, cream, ivory ) in matte and shimmer/shiny.
The matte is for all over the eye area and the shiny is to ad a bit of life to the eye.
Use shiny powders sparingly as your eyes might just shine too much, unless that is the look that you want to achieve.
Taupe, dark brown, gunmetal and black is great to work with, in matte and shiny and very important to have in your palette.
Peachy pink is an ideal colour to use as a natural cheek colour. Always remember to brush lightly over the cheeks. You can always add more if you desire an intense colour.

Synthetic versus natural hair makeup brushes:

I always used to pull up my nose when someone mentioned the word "synthetic" in makeup brushes.
In reality, these are great fibers and better than natural hair.
This is explained below:

The process for making Taklon, in which polyester fiber is extruded and tapered to a fine point. It is designed to mimic the handling characteristics of natural sable.
Taklon brushes are more hygienic than real hair brushes. Natural hair has an irregular surface which traps powders, dead skin cells, bacteria and chemicals. Cleaning may not necessarily remove these particles. Because of this, regular cleaning with disinfectants is required to prevent skin irritation. Taklon lacks these surface irregularities, making it easier to clean properly. This decreases irritation. Because Taklon is synthetic, animal cruelty is not an issue.

NAIL OMBRE

How to do a beautiful nail ombre.

Step one:
Select 2 or 3 nail varnishes of the different shades or complementary colors.
Apply 1 to 2 coats of the lightest color and let dry thoroughly.

Step two:
Take your darker color and apply a drop on a cotton pad. The pad will absorb the product and will be just sufficient to dab a sponge tip applicator onto the drop.

Step three:
Dab lightly over the whole nail service. Repeat second application making sure that only top half is done.
Carry on with applications moving each time higher the the nail tip.

The finished look must have a faded effect. The side closer to the cuticles must be the lightest and becoming dark towards the tips of the nails.

Finish with a top coat for extra shine and protection.

Be creative and use any color scheme, even glitter, but make sure that it is well executed.

HAIR MASCARA

I know how woman...and some men feel when their hair color is growing out and the roots are showing, especially those awful grey hairs sticking out like a sore thumb!
Well, there is a quick fix if you cannot get to your hairstylist for a color.

Hair mascara is just one method of touching up your roots until your next salon visit.

Easy to use and temporary. Just apply with wand on the areas where you need to and voila!
Also great for eyebrows too!
