Denim Story
Denim has been around for years and is still the most favoured trends all around the world. Inglot Cosmetics SA has decided to put a make up story together and it's all about shades of blues. In the 50's, blue was applied on the lids. In the 70's, a wash of blue eyeshadow was applied on the whole eye area. In the 80's, shades of blue were used and blended well into each other to achieve a smokey look. Now in 2011, we have so many different looks that we can achieve, using blue colour. Here are a few ideas on eye looks: 1. Use blue eye pencil or eye gel and line the top eye lid. For a glamour look, apply sparkles over the product. Finish look with mascara on eye lashes. 2. Line the inner lash line with a dark blue pencil and fill the outer corners with a dark blue eyeshadow and blend inwards, to create a smokey look. finish with a lighter blue on the rest of the eyelid. Add lots of mascara in black or navy blue. 3. With a medium, soft eye shadow brush, apply light blue pearl / sparkly eye shadow, over entire eye area. This will give you a wash of colour. Finish look by accentuating the eye brow and applying mascara on eye lashes. 4. For a dramatic, abstract look, paint a bright blue colour, using eye gel, on whole eye lid. Apply false lashes and finish with a layer of mascara. 5. Apply neutral / skin tone colour over eye lids. Build up eye lashes with blue mascara. Finish look by applying sparkles or glitter on tips of eyelashes, while mascara is still wet. 6. Brush powder eyeshadow over eye lids and finish look by applying gloss over the powder. Sticky but stunning glossy look!!
